2009 Nissan Versa lowest-priced new car in the U.S.

The Nissan Versa was never designed to impress as a sports car or a luxury car. It has always been good, cheap and reliable transportation. Nissan knows this too because they are now going for the bottom line with the 2009 Versa by making it the cheapest car in the U.S. at $9,990. This is for the 1.6-liter four-cylinder that makes 107 hp and can get on the 34 mpg highway.

Remember this is cheapest base price for a car. Discounts from dealers, especially when people aren’t buying many cars, will cut well below the Versa’s base price.
