Jaguar’s future supercar rendering
Last week the rumors of a future Jaguar supercar caught us by so much suprise, we had to use pics from a 2001 concept to come close to a vision of the car. Now AutoExpress has taken the modern look of Jaguar and applied it to the mid-engined coupe specs that are rumored to be on the Audi R8 fighter.
The new model should be called the XE and will be built on an all-new aluminum chassis. The car utilize the newly enlarged 5.0-liter V8 engine, which makes at least 510 hp in supercharged form (same one from the XFR). This car could have the ability to make the 0 to 60 sprint in less than four seconds. Also if Jag wants to do a little minor engine tweaking, it may be able to get the same 225 mph speed out of this super-sleek cat as it did with the XFR at Bonneville.
