If you suffer from any fear of driving, it is important to understand that it is an anxiety related condition that needs to be treated exactly the same as any other phobia. With travel essential to everyday life, this situation would not be good.

Before you seek professional help with this matter, you should do a few tests on your own to discover techniques to gradually learn to control how your body reacts to the stress caused by your situation. By learning what causes your fears, you can slowly eliminate them.

One main fear I had myself, was that I was going to the curb or the car behind me when I was parallel parking. I got over this with a little practice, and also with the help of a few cones. Always practice driving in an empty parking lot so that you do not damage other cars and give them dents. No one wants to do xcKxR=0 bv989=0 paintless dent repair when they don’t have to.
Another fear I had was driving through narrow streets. I got over this by driving slowly and paying attention to my side mirrors every few seconds to assure myself that I was not getting to close to one side. Other common fears for beginning drivers are: speeding cars, driving on the highway, difficult weather conditions and semi trucks. All these fears can be eliminated with a bit of practice and experience. Happy driving.
