Thousands will get a chance to drive the Nissan Leaf
Nissan’s new Leaf seems to have taken the place of the Volt on the front page of the automotive news section. Probably because the Volt has been years in the making and it still isn’t here. Either way, the Leaf is coming and Nissan wants you to take one for a drive.
The company has already had pre-orders for the Leaf, so driving one obviously isn’t important to some people. To us though, it is and, in September, all of us will get that chance. Though Nissan hasn’t yet launched its onslaught of advertising, Nissan will offer tens of thousands of people in major cities a chance to drive the new Leaf.
Nissan is hoping that once you drive the car, you will buy the car. Nissan has yet to reveal all the details on the events, but the chances are high that a Leaf will make the trip to a dealership in your city. Until then, get ready for the advertising that is soon to be on every television station, radio station, and newspaper across the country.
