Powered by a V8 engine the future GT-C will join the Gran Turismo line-up starting 2009 (next to the GT and the GT S).

Built on the same platform as the Gran Turismo Coupe, it will be a folding soft top convertible, and not a hardtop one as some rumors suggested.

Under the hood there will be the same 4,2 liter V8 engine as in the coupe version that will deliver 405 hp at 7,100 rpm and a maximum torque of 460 Nm at 4,750 rpm.
